One major news story making its way around Washington DC is that the Trump administration is going to cut federal work pension benefits going forward because their benefits have become unaffordable, i.e., the government is going broke.

Local congressional buffoon Gerald Connolly says Trump’s efforts to alter or reduce government workers benefits shows a lack of appreciation for their contribution and diminishes the value of their work on behalf of society.

Apologist of parasites

Go course, Connolly fails to distinguish between society and government.  Not surprisingly, most of the people who elected this political toady are government bureaucrats.  And not surprisingly, bureaucrats want to believe that service to government is service to country.  But our founding fathers did not share such a simplistic and homogenized view of the matter.

“Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil.”  Thomas Paine

However, Connolly and his ilk are just big government socialists, collectivists, and elitists.  Their ideas always spiral into the same historical abyss.  Government plunder, oppression, war, enslavement, death.  Occasionally they may protect home and country, but in the long ruin they do not preserve society, the destroy it.

Service to government is not service to society.  Society, in every age, always becomes the object of government plunder.  The people who run the agencies and apparatus of government depend upon taking by force, the resources accumulated by others.  These bureaucrats support this active theft while claiming service and sacrifice for the common welfare and the common good.  Government then doubles down by employing the “intellectual” and “chattering” classes to spew out rationale and justifications so liberties can be diminished, the boundaries of our freedoms can be constricted and government plunder can be concealed behind the veneer of morality.

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”  Patrick Henry

Rule of law, once a blessing, becomes an instrument of plunder and is used to protect the thieves from the people they plunder, people that make up the bulk of society.

It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.  Frédéric Bastiat

In ancient Israel, Jesus ran into the same perversion of law.  The ruling teachers became more concerned with following the traditions of the elders and the commandments of men, leaving no place for justice, mercy and faithfulness, the very things that the law was to ensure.  He saw them obsess about small nit-picky rituals but neglect these weightier matters, hence they “strain out a gnat but swallow a camel”.

The rulers of his day, just like our government, divorced the purpose of law from its ritualistic and legalistic implementation.  Once purpose if forgotten, the law can be twisted into any shape the government wishes and used for any purpose government wishes.  Just another step to tyranny and democide.

Most estimates are higher (240-260 million).

Calling government bureaucrats “workers” or “employees” instead of parasites seems incorrect to me.  Government, not terrorists, are society’s biggest threat.

The latest load of crap from the government propaganda agencies (main stream media outlets) continue to parrot government sponsored memes such as “fake news” and “Russian Hacking”.  Like unthinking drones and lemmings they seem to be under the impression that no one will notice that they never offer specific and concrete evidence or attempt cogent reasoning.  It appears that the only people who fall for it are the more well educated among us.  You know, the ones that have college degrees to certify that they have undergone a lobotomy of the common sense part of the brain.

We do know that Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, etc, etc, have become feeds to help the government draw up their plans to oppress and control the unwashed masses, i.e., “deplorables”, libertarians, constitutionalists, preppers, conservative evangelical Christians, and anyone else critical of our socialist distopian overlords.  Historically, socialist utopias always involve killing a lot of people and grinding the rest into poverty so deep that they are devoid of the resources needed to fight for their liberty.

These fake narratives like “fake news” and “Russian hackers” are ridiculously transparent attempts to justify control over the internet and censor free speech.  Someone once said that censorship of free speech is the last step before the government becomes the enemy of the people.  Whether first or last, this step was not needed until the government realized that the Main Stream Media no longer controls the narrative.

Many people are attempting to pro-actively find alternates to the government monitored social platforms.  So here are a few sites free from politically correct censorship I am looking into.  If you know of others, please leave a note.

And anything “blockchain” based is a plus.

Our government is not our friend.  It does not have our best interest at heart.  It has gone off the rails and has become a lawless and rouge entity.  It is drawing battle lines against us.  Their current tools are lies, propaganda, and deception but more and more they are writing new laws to justify the use of force.  Freedom of information is needed to overcome this collectivist and socialist distopia where descent is crushed and the people are reduced to tax slavery.  I hope more and more people will continue to explore the world outside the matrix.

voterfraud

If one excludes the Marxist state of California, Trump won the popular vote. Now I’m no Trump guy. I don’t believe he will change much. And the coming economic disaster just up ahead can’t be headed off by anything he does. I’m more an “Anyone but Hitlary” guy, except perhaps Bernie Saunders who would probably be worse.

Never the less, Bernie, not Hillary, should have won the nod from the DNC in California. Leaked emails and a study out of Stanford show the corruption of the voting apparatus controlled by the Democratic party in California. So why should anyone in the rest of the country trust anything out of this state, which, by the way, is the worse managed state in the union with Illinois and New York right on its heals for the title. For more information on this, see the link below.

California Vote

Clearly California has corruption problems, but it also has serious mental problems. In deed, many “millennials” seem to have the inability to think critically about the subject of collectivism (Socialism, Communism). Most of the time, their thinking and reported conversations exclude well documented history and the ability to engage in any type of intellectual discussion. It does include regurgitating knee jerk insults, parroting their Marxist professors, and violence.

This lack of discussion demonstrating an inability to reason to often results in real “hate speech”. Instead of engaging in discourse over the merits of arguments presented, they dismiss them because of their origin. This is akin to someone rejecting an argument not because of an argument’s validity, but because the source comes from an African-American, or a women, or a progressive, or a conservative, or a Christian, or a Muslim, or an atheist, etc. An argument either has weight or it doesn’t. Its source my not be palatable to someone, but to focus on that simply leads to ad-hominin responses, bias, bigotry and racism.

To call a group of people xenophobic or bigots or racist is itself bigotry. But that level of thinking seems to hard to follow, with to many levels of inference for our young college educated millennials. To many of them are not aware that they are being played by the collectivists in Washington, the Media, and the academics. To many of them are being pushed and pulled like a vast group of lemmings easily controlled by propaganda. Certainly this seems to be the goal of the state.

Until the people of California learn the true record of 20th Century collectivism by studying its history, It is most fortunate for the rest of us that the Electoral College prevented California from sending the rest of the country further down the slippery slope of Socialism.

and thoughts on voter fraud from REDDIT…

My old man lives in California, and sent me his thoughts on the popular vote:
Donald J. Trump has, also, won the popular vote! The anti-electoral vote crowd, which has awakened after a 16 year hibernation period, can now put their protest signs back in the closet.
Donald J. Trump, President-Elect, has won the popular vote. When the votes from the liberal state of California are tossed out the entire political spectrum changes. Consider California is excluded from the Presidential Election of 2016.
Total USA Vote Count including California (99% reporting)
Clinton: 60,839,922 or 48%
Trump: 60265858 or 47%
Johnson: 4,152,009 or 3%
Total USA Vote Count excluding California (100% reporting)
Clinton: 54,979,208 or 46.5%
Trump: 57,114,029 or 48.5
Johnson: 3,847, 988 or 3.3%
Why exclude California? There may be a number of reasons to disqualify California…
1. It is one of 12 States that issue driver license’s to illegal immigrants.
2. While a few States permit legal immigrants to vote, California openly permits illegal immigrants to vote. Get a driver’ license get registered to vote.
3. California counsels illegal immigrants to vote for Democratic candidates.
4. California passed a State bill restricting the ability of the Republican Party to place candidates on the National Ballot. This easily eliminates the freedom to vote for a GOP candidate for the Senate.
5. California was called for Clinton one minute after the polls closed with less than 1% of the vote counted. Despite the fact California uses paper ballots.
6. With the exception of Illinois, voting fraud is common practice in California
7. California is still counting ballots and they are somehow are all for Clinton.
So if you are a Trump or GOP supporter, relax. Just throw out California, relax, smile, have comfort in the fact Trump won the popular vote along with 306 electoral votes. Oh yes, Clinton has 55 fewer Electoral Votes, Shame. Something else for the DNC to cry about.

from Captain Capitalism…

Communism is a method by which lazy people concoct reasons and rationales to steal other people’s money legally.

That’s all it is.

There’s nothing more to it than that.

They’re lazy people, deathly afraid of work, labor, and toil, and instead of suffering the pain of work that all of us do, they’d rather spend lifetimes concocting reasons why the rest of society should be enslaved to provide them a free living. And that’s precisely what they do.

Academians constantly begging for more money in fake disciplines such as “sociology,” “women’s studies,” and “lesbian-Portuguese-Anthropological-Studies” all so they can avoid the real world.

Millennial college students forever perpetually putting off adulthood, DEMANDING their student loans be forgiven so they can avoid the working world as long as possible.

Politicians who find real work beneath them, opt to instead divide us against one another, blaming those who work harder have more wealth for the idiotic mistakes misfortunes of others.

Non-profits and their army of “employees” always championing some cause or another, yet never solving it.

And all of them, ALL OF THEM, blaming people with more money as the cause of the world’s problems, yet ironically demanding rich people’s evil money as the solution.

Their only hope is the one they never vote for.

Their only hope is the one they never vote for.

“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.  It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.”  William Pitt

Oppression breeds Rebellion.  The tyrant, whom in this day we call the “central planner”, has been around for a long time.  First tyrant may have been Nimrod (Gilgamesh) at the Tower of Babel.  The people of ancient Israel were warned against having a king in 1 Samuel 8 because of the loss of liberty, the expansion of the bureaucracy, the systemic plunder of resources, military buildup and wars and general oppression of all types.  We never learn our lesson it seems.

Briots11

The citizens in America’s big cities vote for the same politicians who militarize the police and have changed police culture into a standing army ready to terrorize its own citizens.  How else have central planners (tyrants) been able to control nations and cities?  Nothing has changed.

EricGarner

The citizens in America’s big cities vote for the same politicians who regular and tax small businesses to death, destroying the middle class and job creation.  Even cigarettes cost to much.  Ask Eric Garner.  “Over half of the price of cigarettes in New York City is taxes, so you’ve criminalized behavior that really the police shouldn’t be involved with to begin with,” Rand Paul

obama_lies

People are beginning to realize that the apparatus of government is costly. But what they do not know is that the burden falls inevitably on them.”   Frédéric Bastiat

The people of Baltimore voted for Barack Obama because he was “black” but slave masters come in all skin colors.  They voted for Obama who was nothing more then a collectivist and Marxist ideologue, knowing little more than manipulation, theft and plunder, enriching the coffers of government until everybody is equal, that is to say, impoverished.   Except them of course.

Briots7

“Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. They forget that the state lives at the expense of everyone.”  Frédéric Bastiat

The citizens in America’s big cities vote for the same politicians who must tax everything not nailed down in order to pay for the promises they cannot keep, in order to pay for the government’s ever expanding role in “managing” society, in order to pay for the bureaucracy that is needed to run the inefficient and bloated apparatus of government, and in order to turn police swat teams into Nazi brown shirts.

Rejection of liberalism opened my mind, which I was told by other liberals that it was already opened.

Collectivism, Statism, Socialism, Marxism, and its precursor “democracy” all lead to the same end.  Plunder, murder, destruction.

Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.  John Adams – on why were are a constitutional republic

They think they vote for change yet they vote for the same fools over and over.  They vote for handouts instead of principles.  What does one expect when government schools teach them that government is savior and that it is the source of virtue and can satisfy ever need.  Just more lies.

Briots1

Every step we take towards making the State our Caretaker of our lives, by that much we move toward making the State our Master” Dwight D. Eisenhower

They rebel against the tyrants they put in power.  They do not see that the police are simply the extension of the arm of government that seeks to control the citizen and needed to enforce the countless laws that are poured out upon them by the bureaucrats hired by the very politicians they voted for.

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”Thomas Jefferson, Page 271, Jeffersonian Cyclopedia – Alas, that ship has sailed.  Mr. Jefferson, we are to late.

In this age the great conflict is again between God and Government, Liberty and Tyranny, Freedom and Slavery, Justice and Oppression, Private Property vs. State Sponsored Plunder.  Look to the State and watch your cities burn.  Baltimore is only the beginning.

“Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.”  Benjamin Franklin

“Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil.”  Thomas Paine

“How soon we forget history … government is not reason.  Government is not eloquence.  It is force.  And. like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”  – George Washington

Modern Dictionary definition of Patriotism was not the Patriotism of the founding fathers

The modern definition of patriotism is closely associated with nationalism.  For instance…

  • Patriotism is, generally speaking, cultural attachment to one’s homeland or devotion to one’s country, although interpretations of the term vary with context, geography and political ideology. It is a set of concepts closely related to those of nationalism.” – Wikipedia
  • Patriotism is love and support of your country.  An example of patriotism is waving the flag proudly on your home.  – Yourdictionary.com
  • Love and loyal or zealous support of one’s country – Yourdictionary.com
  • Love that people feel for their country – merriam-webster.com dictionary

Nationalism can be perverted into Aryan Supremacy and global conquest such as in Nazi Germany.  It can also cause common people to lay their lives down to repel invaders even in a horribly repressive place as Stalinist Russia.   But protecting one’s country from invaders is only one aspect of patriotism.

These definitions do not fit what patriotism meant to our founding fathers.   For they were at war with their mother country long before the establishment of their own.  The country came into existence after the “cause”, not before it.   That “cause” was rooted in ideas of liberty and freedom that gave birth to a country.  These ideals motivated and compelled the founders to put their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor at risk.  It was their loyalty to a set of principles and ideals, adherence to which was tested in places like Valley Forge, that separated the true patriot from the summer soldier.

It was these ideas that defined what patriotism looked like to them.  What are those ideas?  They laid them out for us as clearly as they could in our Declaration of Independence.  Some of which were all men are created equal.  They are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.  Rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were spelled out.  Freedom and protection of private property were necessary for human beings to flourish, they were not the creation of, nor did they emanate from government.  The Constitution was to shackle government, that is, place severe limits on its scope and size.  It’s role was to be limited to protecting the peace and preserving these liberties.  Limited government was necessary for the pursuit of happiness.  They understood that government was always the potential source for tyranny, and really the only source.   So they made every effort to make sure the government was to rule by the consent of the governed. The Declaration of Independence also made it clear that it was the right of a free people to rid themselves of a government that becomes destructive of those ends.

Gadsden2These are some of the primary ideals that, for them, defined patriotism.  It was not waving the flag and going to war for your country.  In fact they warning against foreign entanglements lest we could be dragged int endless wars like Europe.  The founders saw the necessity for endless opposition to tyranny in all its forms.

As Benjamin Franklin’s proposed national motto stated Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God”, or Thomas Jefferson’s “I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”  Or Thomas Paine’s “Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil.” Or the words of Patrick Henry “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”

Modern Dictionary definition of Patriotism useful to Tyrants

With that context we can now answer the question as to why the modern definition of patriotism is so underwhelming, so dumbed down, and so suitable for use by tyrants.  For if it is merely love, loyalty, or zeal for country then protection of homeland becomes more important than liberty, property, freedom.  And since it falls to the government to protect the homeland, it follows that the government is the most important entity.   Indeed, government wants you to believe it is synonymous with country.  Thus the government must continue at the expense of everything and everyone else because to oppose government is to oppose country.  The modern patriot will yield all freedoms to oppressor for sake of “country”.  They will live under brutality, fear and enslavement if needed to sustain a country’s government.  Such intellectually vapid definitions of patriotism bereft of the founders principles make people more pliable and manipulation easier.  People are much more likely to do their “duty” when principles are taken out of the equation because principles, when present, are used as a standard against which actions and motives can be compared.

The Ideals of Patriotism a Standard

The ideals laid down in our founding and governing documents (Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights) were meant to guide the actions of men and measure the legitimacy of government.  So it can be safely  said that…

John McCain and ISIS

John McCain and ISIS

When ever a politician or judge or professor or soldier or bureaucrat seeks to serve “country” by maintaining the power of the state or to expand its reach, they are promoting the very opposite of the founder’s intentions and against the purposes of the Constitution and Bill of Rights and against the reason for this nation’s founding.  They become the agents of tyranny masquerading as patriots.  They may answer the call of government to wage war and sacrifice their time, money and even life, and in all sincerity believe their service is noble and yet be promoters of treason and tyranny. That does not mean the do not love this “country”.  For they could be ignorant of it’s founding principles.  They may have confused “country” with “government”.   Or they could actually be opposed to limited government (subversives) and seeking the expansion of the state thus promoting tyranny.  I believe central planners, much of the bureaucracy, the bankers, and most politicians and the corporations that government depends upon belong to this later category.

big government

When ever a politician or judge or professor or soldier or bureaucrat seeks to limit the expansion of the government and curtail its reach and trim its jurisdiction, seeking to confine government to its original scope and mandate, they are promoting the principles enshrined in the Constitution and assisting the cause of liberty.  These are the true patriots.

I think this is the only real and valid definition of patriotism for an American.  Good intentions, sincerity, dedication and loyalty do not determine truth and were not the principles of the founders and were not the reason for the nation’s existence.  Love for the ideals and principles of liberty must supersede nationalism or Americans are no different then the Nazi or the Stalinist.

Patriot or Treason?

So while many may think they are patriots because they love this country and have fought wars on behalf of government, they may actively be promoting the very opposite goals of the founders and their actions are against the constitution and the freedom of its people.  While they glow with the feelings of loyalty, they mistakenly work tirelessly on behalf of expanding the capacity of the federal government to enslave the citizen.  They have been duped into believing that service to government is service to country.  Because they believe they are serving their country they are the most dangerous and effective tool of federal tyranny.  Because they believe their cause is noble and the see themselves as protecting the security and general welfare of the people, they become the architects of oppression.

Constitutional Conservative or Neo-Con?

Constitutional Conservative or Neo-Con?

I believe the true patriot are not the right wing war-mongers and neo-cons attempting to maintain and spread the american empire.

OBAMACARE

Nor are they the socialist left believing they can achieve utopia by litigation and the force of government.

People promoting the strength and expansion of the federal government are committing acts of treason.  They may love this country but to obey government when it opposes the founding principles is not love of country but love of government and thus service to tyrants.   It is to encourage oppression of the citizens and it is destructive to their liberty.  It is to work for the enslavement of its people and it is opposition to the intentions of the founders and the undoing of the constitution.

People promoting the ideals of the founders are patriots and for an “American”, nothing else.

hypocrit4

We have all played the hypocrite at times.  To be sure, it is something most of us try to avoid.  If asked, very few would say that they enjoy or prefer being a hypocrite.  Hypocrisy is something that has been considered disgusting and is almost always used to mask real intentions.   Jesus, who was in many cases extremely kind to sinners was also extremely harsh to the religious hypocrite.  You may recall his use of the term “white washed sepulchers” among others.

According to this criteria, I would have to put forth that Republicans are more evil that Democrats, at least for the most part.

war-ok-now-liberals-hypocrites-politics-1339991705

You see, with the Democrats, their evil is right out front and their hypocrisy is easier to see.  They have almost no moral standards except tolerance.  They are against war if Bush does it but hardly an outcry when Obama continues in the same venue.

We changed an mediocre fascist regeme for a more effieciant one

They are outright socialists, collectivists, atheists, and communists.  They all worship at the alter of Statism.  And as such they ceaselessly expend great efforts to expand governmental power.  They always vote for bigger government, more taxes, against private property and personal liberty.  Their votes always lead to more theft and plunder for the government.  They  have contempt for the limits placed on them by the constitution.  They may not understand economics and they do not realize that to expand governmental power they have to expand the power and control of the banks that finance the government (an entity they hate almost as much as business).  They may not realize that support for the environmental movement (at least in its current form) is destructive of private property and hence liberty also.  No they are in no way deep thinkers and the more extreme, less of it that do.  They actively push for the transformation of America the once constitutional republic to America the Fascist Utopian state.   They are all slogans and corrupt beyond belief.  They apply one standard of conduct to conservatives yet rarely is it applied to themselves.  I would go on and on about the rank stupidity of democratic policy, their goose stepping media sycophants, the lemming like drones they call their “core”, etc.   I am not saying they are free from hypocrisy, just that generally their vileness is more overt.

Constitutional Conservative or Neo-Con?

Constitutional Conservative or Neo-Con?

The Republicans, however, with few exceptions, are Statists too.  They want to expand government.  They believe, like their democratic colleagues, that individual rights are granted by the state and not God.  However, the have mastered the skill of “conservative lingo” and even “Jesus speak”.  They fool their core about their real intentions at every turn.   Many claim to be for smaller government with much restricted federal power that fits more into our traditional constitutional framework.  But they do NOT vote for the principles they claim.  They to vote for endless government expansion.  They do not move to protect private property and they rarely vote against government overreach.  On the whole they vote contrary to the principles they claim to support.

Well, at least he has lots of healthcare stocks that are projected to do well thanks to Obamacare.

Well, at least he has lots of healthcare stocks that are projected to do well thanks to Obamacare.

Their hypocrisy can be seen in the passage of the omnibus spending bill to keep government open.   They allowed Citibank to add a derivatives rider to the tune of 303 TRILLION dollars through the FDIC so that if the banks get into further trouble (which they will) the FDIC can borrow from the treasury which means the tax payers (Whom the IRS calls inventory).  303 Trillion may cover Citibank, J P Morgan-Chase, Bank of America and a few others.  Then there is NDAA, NSA spying, CISPA and NDRP.  The debt ceiling is kabuki theater and can never be stopped.

hypocrit2

My wife and I were at a dinner over the Christmas holidays.  The people attending were all from the conservative spectrum.  They were all wondering about who will the republicans put forth in 2016 to save the republic or get America back on track.  They did not want to see Romney or another Bush.  Well, Amen to that.  Still I felt the need to point out that the new republican majority just sold them all down the river by saddling them and their posterity with 303 trillion dollars of bank bailouts or bail-ins.  They just blinked at each other without comment.  I guess most republicans are lemmings too.
